The 2019 Elections

After surviving several coalition crises, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's fourth government (in office since May 2015)  disbanded in December of 2018. The formal reason given for the early Knesset dissolution was the governing coalition's inability to obtain a majority to push forward legislation. The law dissolving the Knesset passed on December 26, 2018 and the parliament set Election Day for April 9, 2019.

הבחירות לכנסת העשרים ואחת תיערכנה ביום שלישי, 9 באפריל 2019, כשבעה חודשים טרם מועדן המקורי. בוועדת הבחירות נרשמו 47 רשימות המתמודדות לכנסת, אך לאחר פרישה של חלק מהרשימות נותרו 43 מתמודדות. לאחר הבחירות ייקבע הרכב הסיעות בכנסת העשרים ואחת

Craftechnology Design research followed by mass personalization menufactring protocol. The project deals with prime minister BB's public image, the online exhbition is updated on a daily basis while illustrate the background noise accompanying current  election campaign, with the aim of framing it as a three-dimensional object.

פרויקט מחקר עיצוב העוסק בדמותו ובתדמיתו של ראש הממשלה. תוצרי הפרויקט נעשים על בסיס יומי ודוגמים את רעשי רקע המלווים את מערכת הבחירות הנוכחית וזאת במטרה לנסחם בדמות אובייקט תלת ממדי.

הפרויקט החל בד בבד עת ההכרזה על פיזור הכנסת ומתוכנן להתקיים עד יום הבחירות דרך תהליך עיצוב וייצור העונה באופן מיידי על המתרחש.

Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu; born 21 October 1949, is an Israeli politician serving as the 9th and current Prime Minister of Israel since 2009, previously holding the position from 1996 to 1999. Netanyahu is also currently a member of the Knesset and the Chairman o the Likud party.

בנימין נתניהו הוא ראש ממשלת ישראל, שר הביטחון ושר הבריאות הנוכחי. נתניהו כיהן כראש ממשלה במשך שתי תקופות: הראשונה, בראשות ממשלת ישראל העשרים ושבע, בין השנים 1996–1999, והשנייה, שהחלה ב-2009 בראשות ממשלת ישראל השלושים ושתיים ונמשכת עד היום. נתניהו כיהן בממשלות ישראל גם כשר האוצר וכשר החוץ, וכן כראש האופוזיציה.

Shortly after the item aired, Netanyahu called Packer’s agent and forcefully demanded that both Packer and the yacht leave Israel. The agent didn’t pass this hysterical message onto Packer, but the businessman left soon afterwards anyway, before police investigators could question him in Case 1000. Only after about a year of international efforts did they manage to question him in Australia.​​

יום לאחר חקירתו השישית של ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו בפרשת המתנות, מתפרסמים מאמצי החוקרים להגיע למיליארדר האוסטרלי המעורב בפרשה - שהצליח להתחמק.

Netanyahu's household accounts show that in 2012 he budgeted 10,000 shekels (about £1,750) for ice-cream bought by his staff from a Jerusalem parlour, according to a report in the financial daily Calcalist. This budget affords the leader and his family 14kg of ice-cream a month.

לשכת ראש הממשלה ביקשה וקיבלה אישור מיוחד לרכוש למעון ראש הממשלה גלידה בהיקף של 10,000 שקל בשנה מתקציב המדינה. ועדת המכרזים הממשלתית אף פטרה את רכישת הגלידה למעון ראש הממשלה מחובת המכרזים ואישרה לזוג נתניהו לרכוש את הגלידה מגלידרייה הסמוכה למעון הרשמי ברחוב בלפור בירושלים, כיוון שזו  מצליחה לקלוע "לטעמו האישי" של נתניהו (כך לשון בקשת משרד ראש הממשלה).

Netanyahu said Israel recently uncovered 55,000 documents and 183 CDs of information from Iran’s “nuclear archives”; material filled with incriminating evidence showing the Iranian program, called “Project Amad,” was to develop a weapon.

While relying on his trademark use of visual aids, Netanyahu claimed that the material showed that Iran cannot be trusted, and encouraged President Donald Trump to withdraw from the international deal with Iran next month.

​Speaking at the opening of the Knesset’s winter session in Jerusalem, Netanyahu assailed the political opposition and media for their allegedly sour outlook, calling them “hamutzim” — literally “pickles,” but colloquially “sourpusses.”

“When pickles talk, you hear conversations like, isn’t the situation here horrible and terrible? Isn’t everything falling apart? By the way, did you order tickets to London or Berlin?”

..לאחר מכן עבר נתניהו לתקוף את חברי האופוזיציה, "תעשיית הדכדוך עדיין קיימת ויש לה נציגים מכובדים בבית הזה ובתקשורת. לאחרונה יש חידוש, ענף חדש - ענף החמוצים.

PARIS—French President Nicolas Sarkozy described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a "liar" during a recent conversation with President Barack Obama that was overheard by reporters, according to a French website's report of the incident.

אתר אינטרנט צרפתי דיווח הלילה (ג') על שיחה פרטית שנערכה בין נשיא צרפת ניקולא סרקוזי לנשיא ארצות הברית ברק אובמה, ובה חשפו השניים את מחשבותיהם על ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו.

במהלך השיחה, אמר סרקוזי לאובמה: "אני לא יכול לראות אותו יותר, הוא שקרן". הנשיא אובמה השיב לו: "אתה מדבר? אני צריך להתמודד איתו כל יום".
